My most recent corporate job (and also the position I will be working as when I transition to Full Time) was a Risk Consulting Intern for RSM US LLP during the Summer of 2020. Due to COVID my internship was made remotely and it only lasted for two weeks. During those two weeks I was able to learn so much about the consulting industry and what all the different lines of service within consulting are offered at RSM. As a Risk Consulting Associate I will be helping clients optimize their processes and guide them with government compliance standards. I am really excited to start this new chapter of my life and extremely happy to be doing it with such an amazing organization.
H&Co llP
My second experience was my first actual corporate job. I worked as an Operations Intern for a CPA firm in Coral Gables called H&CO (I am currently still working for H&Co but this time as a PPP Loan Consultant). During my time as an intern I was able to learn so much about what the corporate environment was all about. I helped with the Analytics team in creating different reports and visuals to later be used by the company’s partners and executives to help them make decisions about the future goals and plans for the company.

My first ever professional experience was with StartUP FIU which granted me so much knowledge. At StartUP I worked as a Student Assistant for the Procurement division. We focused on helping small minority business owners to scale their businesses so they could secure contracts with anchor institutions such as FIU and other big enterprises across South Florida. I worked during the entire research part of this project and all the way through the launch of their first cohort which was about 15 of the most kind individuals I have ever had the privilege of working with. They were all able to learn so much thanks to this program and most of them did secure a contract with FIU as a General Contractor.
